Electrical

• Ensure access to all rooms, garages, and outbuildings

• DB boards must be accessible and unlocked

• Prepaid meter must have enough units for testing

• Remove unused extension leads

• All lights must be working and have covers fitted

• Fixed appliances must be correctly connected and earthed

• Hot water cylinders, satellite dishes, and aerials must be bonded—contact your installer if recently fitted

Gas

• Clear the area around the gas bottles

• Shut-off valves must be accessible

• Provide appliance serial numbers if available

Electric Fence

• Ensure access to the energiser

• Remove any vegetation touching the fence

Plumbing

• Make sure geysers, pipes, and drainage points are accessible

• Recently installed geysers must follow PIRB requirements

• Ensure valves, overflow pipes, and safety features are properly fitted
